Test and Trace on campus

About Test and Trace at Warwick

We have a dedicated Covid-19 Test and Trace service for both students and staff. If you think you may have Covid-19 symptoms, you'll be able to complete a self-swab test on campus.

Our Covid-19 Test and Trace complements the NHS Test and Trace service and draws on the expertise of colleagues across the University, who have already been assisting the local NHS. Warwick's own Test and Trace service operates in line with government guidelines.

Please note, this is an appointment-only service, for staff and students who think they may have Covid-19 symptoms.

You should not use public transport, taxis or private hire cares to travel to a testing facility. Find out how to request a home testing kit via NHS.

How to book an asymptomatic test

If you don't have symptoms, you need to book an asymptomatic test. The Test and Trace service is for people with symptoms, or if you are confirmed as being in close contact with a positive case. If you are looking to book your asymptomatic tests, you will need to book a different kind of test.

How to book an appointment if you have symptoms or have been a close contact

If you think you may have Covid-19 symptoms or you've been confirmed as a close contact with someone who has tested positive and/or has been asked to isolate, you'll be able to complete a self-swab test on campus – with guidance from a Test Administrator. The service will be accessible, with parking available.

We aim to get your test result back to you within 48 hours. We’ll also do all your contact tracing, to enable us to quickly reduce transmission rates across campus and the surrounding community. Find out more about how it works.
