How secure are my personal details?

When you complete the Contact Trace Form you will be asked to read and sign a data privacy statement here which provides full details on how we will keep your personal details secure.

What personal details do you need from me and why?

How do I have the confidence that campus is safe for me?

The University has developed a Covid-19 Response Plan that provides detailed procedures for those who may respond in the event of a suspected or confirmed case of Covid-19. The University will support any person with a suspected or confirmed case of Covid-19 in close liaison with healthcare professionals, following advice from such parties at all times. PHE is the authoritative body in UK in respect of the control of infectious disease and any PHE instruction will be adhered to.

In the event of an outbreak of Covid-19 within the University community, the University’s Major Incident Plan will be invoked.

Who will the University inform after receipt of a positive Covid-19 test result?

Your data privacy is important to us, which is why we only reveal your identify to those agencies that need to know in order to provide you with the support that you need which include your GP and (for students) the Residential Life Team.

We will inform departments and other teams of the identity of the positive test result case only where required in order to be able to confirm close contacts, activities and rooms /spaces affected.

We notify Warwick Accommodation, Estates Maintenance, Campus Security and Campus Cleaning Services of a positive test case result.
