Campus timeline

What's our plan of action?

We have a timeline of plans to reopen campus and welcome staff and students back to campus. Of course, this is all provisional and depends on the wider context in the UK. Whatever happens, we will constantly be prioritising the safety and wellbeing of our community.

What's our status right now?

Whilst people should continue to work from home where they can, a small number of work and research spaces are now open. More spaces and activities are gradually being approved to open.

Activities are only approved to restart once a comprehensive risk assessment has been undertaken and approved in line with social distancing and personal hygiene standards (meeting Government Covid-19 Secure standard); staff, students and visitors will then be notified if directly involved or affected.

Timeline

What has already opened, and what is still being planned?

The following is a list of target re-opening dates for buildings on campus.

It’s important to note that your usual workspace reopening does not mean you will automatically be coming back to work on campus. Your line manager will contact you directly if you are going to be returning to work from campus.
