Led by Dr Zahra Newby (Classics and Ancient History) and the Student Careers Centre.

Aimed at established postgraduate students with some teaching experience, this session will discuss how to design a new module from scratch, as well as offering other tips for applications to academic posts. You will need to prepare the outline of a module in advance of the session using the template here and can choose one of the following options:

  • A first-year undergraduate module for your department
  • An Honours-level (2nd/3rd Year) module reflecting your particular research interests

Please sign up by Friday 3rd February 2017 at the latest.

I confirm that I wish to attend the ‘Module Design and Applying for Academic Jobs’ workshop on the 9th February 2017 and that I will give 48 hours notice should I wish to cancel.
