The European Early American Studies Association holds a biennial conference organised around a key theme. Our last conference was held in Paris in December 2016, our next one will be in London in December 2018 (please see links above).

The AHRC Network Grant allowed us to support postgraduate attendance at other conferences, colloquia, and symposia between 2008 and 2010. In 2010 we helped to fund the Summer Academy in Atlantic History held in Bayreuth, Germany, where postgraduates are brought together with more senior scholars for a week long programme of seminars. We also supported the second summer academy in Galway in May 2011.
