Dear Postgraduates,

I hope you are all continuing to stay safe and well at this time.

The following email is for students who receive stipend funding which has ended or is going to end between 1 March 2020 to 31 March 2021.

As you might be aware, the Doctoral College has published their COVID-19 Funded PGR Extensions Policy. The policy is available to view in full here: https://warwick.ac.uk/services/dc/support/staff_guidance/scholarships_funding/covidextension.

Funded doctoral students who are not able to complete their thesis within their current funding period due to the COVID-19 pandemic can apply for an extension to their stipend. No fees will be charged for any period of extension. Funded extensions will be for stipend only, no additional costs will be included. Students who are unwell can take sick leave following the current sick leave policy.

If your funding end date in within the above time-frame and you would like to request an extension on COVID-19 related grounds, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

If you have any queries, please get in contact.

Kind regards,
Emily
