FINAL RESEARCH AND CREATIVE PROJECT

1. If your project requires writing, then the project should consist of 1,500 words for finalists and 1,000 words second years, followed by a 500 -word commentary by both finalists, and second years.

Some options:

--a research essay on a topic connected to the module's concerns;

--an annotated syllabus for the module

--a memoir or oral history

--ethnography

--a piece of creative writing

--a website

--social media engagement (using Twitter, Instagram, etc)

2. If your project consists of making a video or a podcast, it should be 5-7 minutes long for finalists, and 3-5 minutes for second years, followed by a 500-word commentary by both finalists, and second years.

3. If your project consists of creating an artwork, or a portfolio of art/photography, make sure to include 5-6 elements of it.
