Certificate in Shakespeare: Text and Stage

2011-12 I was a tutor and co-director (with Trudy Hillier) of this certificate in the Centre for Lifelong Learning, Warwick University

This Certificate, equivalent in weighting to a first-year undergraduate module, offers part-time learners an introduction to Shakespeare in performance and on the page. Plays studied included: Twelfth Night, The Comedy of Errors, Macbeth, Titus Andronicus, Richard II and Henry V.

Undergraduate Module: Modes of Reading

2011-13 I was a tutor on the first-year undergraduate module 'Modes of Reading' in English Literature and Comparative Literary Studies, Warwick University. The module was primarily focused on the practices of criticism. Form, genre and literary inheritance was among the topics addressed with an indepth study of literary theory.

Critical Issues in Law and Management

2011-13 I was a tutor in the Warwick Business School on the 3rd year module 'Critical Issues in Law and Management'

The module encouraged Law and Business students to develop critical thinking. My teaching on this module involved small group facilitation, the promotion of active learning techniques, coaching on presentation and debating skills, and the exploration of wider ethical and moral issues in law and business contexts.
