Teaching & Learning
The department currently has 554 UG students 58 PGT students & 51 PGR students (2024/25). In addition to this we teach students from other academic departments across a range of modules.
There are University-level and Department level policies on most aspects of teaching and learning, which set out processes in some detail. Please check for relevant policies before you advise any student on a particular matter. Policies do change regularly, so please re-check if you have not looked at a particular policy recently. If you cannot find an answer to a specific question, please contact one of the education portfolio holders (Director of Undergraduate Studies, Director of Postgraduate Studies, Director of Teaching and Learning, Senior Tutor, etc.) for information.
