History Year Abroad Student Views:
- I have learnt a great deal about Canadian history and politics.
- I joined Queen's dance club and participated in 2 of their shows. I also joined Flow dance club and performed in one of their shows.
- The teaching relied on less independent work from students but also required much more reading on a more frequent basis. Assignments were easier and shorter but there were many more deadlines.
- I feel that I have gained skills regarding competently travelling alone on long and short distance flights. I feel more confident to navigate around airports, bus stations and train stations by myself.
Please note that not all institutions are available each year, and places will be allocated on a competitive basis. Partnerships may be added or withdrawn at any time, and are always subject to availability. The institutions available each year will be posted in the preceding Autumn Term.
