Final Year UG Chris Clark CAS Prize for Best Overall Performance

Chris Clark

Professor Chris Clark was Professor of North American History at the Warwick University History Department and School of Comparative American Studies (CAS) for seven years before moving to the University of Connecticut in 2005. While at Warwick he was CAS Director from 1999 to 2002 and taught both the second-year undergraduate module 'AM201 Building the American North' and the final-year undergraduate module 'AM408 Utopias in the USA'.

Professor Clark's areas of expertise include 18th and 19th century North American and United States social and cultural history; the social history of economic life; the history of American capitalism; rural societies and industrialisation; abolitionism and utopian communities; New England.
