The TRC, a suite of study and resource rooms located on two floors in the Humanities Building, was launched in autumn 2007 by the Warwick Modern Languages Departments. The TRC's aim is to support staff and students in critical and creative engagement with audio-visual and electronic media in a multilingual setting.  With wireless access throughout, a multi-language DVD Library, and networked digital satellite TV, the TRC situates it users at the heart of transnational and global communications networks, and offers a multilingual space for the exploration and analysis of cultural texts, including film, television, and electronic media. Comprising a resources room, group study room, cinema room and DVD Library, the TRC provides study environments ranging from formal workrooms, to informal lounge space for film viewing, private study or group discussion
