Composite calendar

This is a composite calendar page template pulling in feeds from events calendars in department and research centre sites. It is purely used as a tool to collect the event details before filtering through to a publicly-visible calendar filter page template. To remove or add a feed to this composite calendar, please contact the IT Services Web Team (webteam at warwick dot ac dot uk).

How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Masters Q and A Session for interested applicants
Teams

Are you interested in pursuing an MA in ANCIENT VISUAL AND MATERIAL CULTURE, or ANCIENT LITERATURE AND THOUGHT after your degree in the CLASSICS AND ANCIENT HISTORY Department? Applications for our MA programmes are still open. You might be interested to hear about the university's new Graduate Award Scheme, offering up to 200 awards to be allocated according to academic merit; this gives a 30% reduction of the academic fee for our Masters courses. All alumni will also benefit from a 10% discount on the fee (unless recipients of the Award).

Both our MA provide extensive in depth-training for further research (PhD) and various professional careers such as museum and heritage sectors. The ANCIENT LITERATURE AND THOUGHT course will provide you with a unique opportunity to explore ancient literature in more depth, and an intensive introduction to literary theory through an interdisciplinary approach. The ANCIENT VISUAL AND MATERIAL CULTURE course will open up several areas of specialism such as numismatics and epigraphy, in close contact with major collections and museums from the UK. The ‘Ancient Rome’ and ‘Ancient Greece’ options will take you to the BSR and the BSA respectively for part of your training over the summer.

Information on the available programmes and options are available here. We will hold a Q/A session via Teams on Thursday 18 June, 11-12 am. Please register your interest with Caroline Petit (c.c.l.petit@warwick.ac.uk) by Tuesday 16 June if you wish to attend.
