Renaissance PG Modules for External Students

2025-26

Please find below a list of modules that will run within the Centre for the Study of the Renaissance (subject to minimum numbers being met), that are available to students in other departments, subject to availability. If you wish to apply for one of these modules, please complete the form HERE.

Term 1

Renaissance Culture and Society (RS904-30) Tuesdays, 12:00-14:00, term 1 only, 30 CATS. (Room FAB2.33). Teaching timetable/syllabus HERE.

The Development of English Drama 1558-1642. Thursdays, 10:00-12:00. (RS906-30 in 2025-26 only) [Previously EN985-30).


Term 2

Travel Writing in Italy and Spain, 1150-1600 (RS907-30 Advanced Study Option), Wednesdays, 3-5, term 2 only, 30 CATS. (Room FAB2.33).

Understanding and Promoting Cultural Heritage: the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust (RS908-30), Thursday mornings at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in Stratford-upon-Avon, classes weeks 1-5; independent research sessions weeks 7-10. Please note that this module is also available in 15 CATS (RS908-15) and 20 CATS (RS908-20) versions.

Renaissance Europe and the Environmental Humanities: Venice and Beyond (RS992-30), in Venice for week 11 of term 2. Assessment activities in term 3 in Warwick. Please note that this module is also available in 15 CATS (RS990-15) and 20 CATS (RS991-20) versions.
