10 April 2017: On April 6, Dr Schoonover spoke to community members and students at the Italian Cultural Center (Minneapolis) about his research into the entrepeneurs of Italian-American movie theatres.

14 July 2016: Head researcher Dr Barbara Corsi gave a talk at the conference 'i cattolici e il cinema in Italia tra gli anni/40 e gli anni ’70/ Catholics and Cinema in Italy Between the 40s and the 70s' (8-10 June, University of Milan), drawn from work undertaken for the Italian Producers Project.Her talk, entitled 'Salvo D’Angelo produttore europeo/Salvo D'Angelo European Producer' has since been uploaded and can be listened to here.

15 Dec 2016: At the opening of the World Picture Conference at Cambridge University (13-14 December, hosted by Corpus Christi College), Karl Schoonover spoke about the imbrication of real estate speculation and filmmaking in Italy during the the 1960s in a talk entitled, Cinema's Land Expropriation.' This is drawn from his research on the Italian Producers Project.

7 December 2016: On 5 December, at the conferenence 'Storia & Storie' 
(hosted by the Associazione Italiana per le Ricerche di Storia del Cinema, Bologna), Producers Project team member Barbara Corsi presented on her findings in the Cristaldi archives.
