Theatre Studies PhD researcher has been long listed for National Poetry Prize 2019

Congratulations to Alison Porter from the Theatre Studies team, who has been longlisted out of the 16,000 applicants for the National Poetry Prize 2019. Her work was also long-listed in 2015.

A 10 year anthology for the Hippocrates Prize for Poetry and Medicine for winning poems from 2010-2019 will be launched in London on 25th March 2020

You're warmly invited to a Q&A with one of the department's alumni, Jonny Geller, one of the most distinguished literary agents working today. He's represented writers from Nigella Lawson and Robert Person, to John le Carré and Margaret Atwood, Russell Brand to Gordon Brown. He did the equivlanet of our English Literature degree in the department before becoming an actor and going on to work in publishing.
