Subject: Communication with the GSD Department
we hope that you are well and keeping safe.
Following on Stephanie's email on Friday, we just wanted to update you on how best to communicate with us in the department.
GSD Virtual Common Room: You should all have received an email invite to join this Microsoft Teams group: it's an informal space that we have created to touch base with you on a daily basis (1-1:30 PM at the moment, in case this changes we will leave a message on Teams chat itself) and for you to chat with each other if you wish. We have received great feedback on this but please let us know if you believe this can be improved further.
(Microsoft Teams should be available to you as part of the University Office 365 suite https://warwick.ac.uk/services/its/ please get in touch with IT services should you any problem. You may want to download the desktop version https://teams.microsoft.com/downloads).
Queries: We are all receiving a huge amount of emails, so please do not send the same query to more than one staff member. Please direct queries to the most relevant staff member (e.g. Personal tutor, Director of Student Experience, resource account firstname.lastname@example.org to contact the GSD office). We will do our best to reply as soon as possible, however there may be a longer than usual delay during the current circumstances.
