Laurence Broyd

Laurence Broyd (OBE) has three and half decades of experience in political and economic analysis with the FCDO’s Research Analysts, focusing on Central, Eastern and Southern-Eastern Europe.

He has served as Deputy Head of FCDO Research Analysts, as well as the head of the Economic Section in BE Moscow and Deputy Ambassador in BE Sofia. He graduated with a Joint Hons degree in Russian and Economics and has an MA in Slavonic Studies.
