3 June 2025: Sustainability Spotlight conference 'Manufacturing and the Circular Economy in the VUCA world', at the ShardThe Shard, London Bridgerd June 2025, the Shard This is a one-day conference, targeting manufacturing, business and policy sectors of the UK economy and governance. The conference will use the urgency of the current geopolitical chaos situated further in the VUCA world – a world of increasing vulnerability, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity – to seek collective solutions and support UK industries and businesses to become more resilient and self-reliant to manage the global shock waves more efficiently. This is the first in a series of workshops and other interventions to support the implementation of more resilient processes using the Circular Economy principles and systems’ thinking. The event is supported by Warwick’s Sustainability SpotlightLink opens in a new windowLink opens in a new window, which brings together 1000+ interdisciplinary researchers and networks to face the planetary challenges collectively, in search for more sustainable futures. |

4-5 June: A Network Studio workshop on sustainabilityRadcliff WarwickRuns from Wednesday, June 04 to Thursday, June 05. This 2-day workshop on sustainability, is supported by the Sustainability Spotlight and EUTOPIA. It brings together interdisciplinary researchers with a focus on sustainability from three EUTOPIA Universities - Warwick, VUB (Brussels) and TUD (Dresden). It is a closed event, for pre-registered participants only. |

3 July: Warwick's Sustainability Forum: from Reflection to ActionOrganised by the Sustainability Spotlight, Warwick's Sustainability Forum: From Reflection to Action, will take place on 3 July at the FAB. It will bring together all interdisciplinary researchers across Warwick with a focus on sustainability, to reflect on what has been achieved so far by the Spotlight, to discuss what should happen next, and to engage with a higher-level panel discussion of 'The BIG Sustainability Challenges of the Future'. Lunch will be provided; the event will be followed by reception. |
