How can we meaningfully and responsibly engage with global sustainable development challenges?
This is a key question for anyone involved in sustainable development. At IGSD, we invest significant time in critically monitoring and evaluating our research. We are committed to continuous improvement, exploring and learning from global good practice with the goal of delivering more impactful research.
We are keen to exchange knowledge and learn collaboratively with the research community at Warwick. We will work with colleagues to share information about good practice, innovative approaches and established practices while learning from their experiences of global sustainable development research.
We can offer a range of support to facilitate meaningful engagement with global challenges: from information such as the resource bank on this website, geospatial technical assistance, through to targeted knowledge exchange events.

The purpose of the resource bank is to provide guidance about monitoring and evaluation in projects that are associated with sustainable development and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We provide links to articles, reports and publications and in some cases, IGSD commentary.
Training, workshops and events will be a core part of IGSD support. Working in partnership with Research and Impact Services, IGSD will deliver a variety of development opportunities. In year one, this is planned to include: Theory of Change, Citizen Science and the SDGs.
We can also advise on planning, monitoring and evaluation of SDG related research projects. At IGSD we are keen to support you in achieving meaningful project impact; get in touch to informally discuss potential approaches or more in depth involvement in M&E as part of your team.
The community hub will bring together transdisciplinary research networks and external stakeholders to build new collaborations that cut across disciplinary, national and institutional borders. We will identify opportunities to link our international networks with researchers across Warwick.
The community hub will also showcase GCRF research across Warwick as a way of celebrating success, understanding challenges and exploring opportunities to collaborate.
We are keen to collaborate on research projects in global sustainable development. We offer expertise in digital geography, geospatial data and research related to Sustainable Development Goals.
IGSD has significant expertise in use of Geospatial Data and Geographic Information Systems in projects. We'd be happy to explore how Gespatial Data can be used to support your research. We also offer research-led teaching in Geospatial Methods in Global Sustainable Development.
