Discover our modules

The core modules on our MASc in Community, Engagement, and Belonging focus on the value of building and enhancing partnerships with community organisations. Crucially, the core modules offer the methodological and theoretical grounding for in-depth research.

We are continually updating our modules to reflect the latest research and expertise within our department. Please note, the core modules on this page reflect module offerings in the 2023-24 academic year.

Optional modules

The module list below is an indicative rather than an exhaustive list of possible optional modules. If you wish to take other optional modules from across the University, you will need to discuss with your Personal Tutor and the Programme Director.

Please note that if any optional modules are run in Term 1, it may not be possible to enrol on them. As the majority of optional modules are outside the School for Cross-faculty Studies, it will be the other department's decision when and whether modules run in the next academic year.
