Jonathan Heron

Thesis: A different kind of failure (2015)

Jonathan completed a practice-as-research thesis on experimental theatre and transdisciplinary performance. He also co-edited the first issue of the Journal of Beckett Studies (23:1, 2014) to focus exclusively on performance, with Nicholas Johnson (Trinity College Dublin) and contributed to two edited collections: Shakespeare on the University Stage (2015) & Performing Early Modern Drama Today (2012) for Cambridge University Press.
From 2013 to 2016 he co-convened the IFTR Performance-as-Research Working Group with Annette Arlander (Helsinki) and Emma Meehan (Coventry).


Jonathan is Warwick's IATL Principal Teaching Fellow and Artistic Director of Fail Better Productions.

Fail Better Productions was Company in Residence at The CAPITAL Centre from 2008 to 2010.
