Testimonials

We seek to provide an active, interesting and relevant experience on the APP PGR, which models good practice in teaching and learning. Here's what some of last year's students had to say about the course.

Everything was brilliant, so well-organised and with such a good flow.

I really enjoyed the Lego practice. It made me think of diversity's definition and a great discussion with other group members for how the University contributed in diversity and inclusion. It was nice to be creative during a practice.

...I have to say that I have very much enjoyed the programme. I appreciate how difficult it is to build an engaging 4-hours workshop, and all of them have been very relevant and interesting. I have recommended all my colleagues to do it, and I honestly think this should be mandatory to all teaching PGR. Thanks a lot for everything!

Student feedback has helped to directly shape the ongoing programme and the new APP PGR. Students have told us that the course has impacted on their work in many ways.

I very much enjoyed the course. Sara is lovely and an amazing teacher. The planning, structure, and wide range of activities are just brilliant. Time really flies in these workshops!

Thank you so much for all the hard work that you clearly put into these sessions, it really comes across and all of your students benefit from your enthusiasm

I really enjoyed the lego as a pedagogical tool activity. It was a fun way to really think about equality, diversity and inclusion. It was fascinating hearing peoples's experiences of discrimination or their positive stories based on these issues.

As always the group was engaged, which promoted discussion and engaged all members to share experiences and opinions
