Student Staff Liaison Committee
Introduction
The SSLC for ADC is made up of representatives from four programmes: PGA Curriculum Development, APP EXP, APP PGR and APP TE. It is unique in that all reps are also members of staff, who represent other members of staff following ADC programmes. The SSLC also includes two academic convenors who are members of staff in ADC.
The SSLC maintains links with the Students' Union in relation to the PGA Curriculum development course whose participants are also students.
The SSLC allows participants to have a say on their programme/course and their resources. It also provides a mechanism for ADC to consult with participants and receive feedback on new proposals. The idea is that it is participant-led and provide an area for participants and staff to discuss ideas and solve problems connected with the programmes.
Reps attend SSLC meetings, and periodically ADC departmental meetings, and maintain a dialogue with other participants where possible.
If you're interested in the work of the SSLC or have an issue you would like to be discussed, you can contact one of the reps.
