Assessors are crucial to the success of the APP EXP pathway. They consider applications from colleagues who are applying for fellowship, undertaking a peer review of the evidence presented against the criteria. All new assessor on APP EXP will need to undertake induction activities which include two workshops and the shadowing of assessment panels. They are also expected to maintain up to date knowledge of the PSF and the APP EXP pathway once they have completed the induction activities.
In order to become a fully member of the APP EXP assessor network it is necessary to undertake induction activities. These are:
Workshop 1: Introduction to APP EXP Assessing (2 hours)

Following completion of the assessor induction activities you would become a member of the APP EXP mentor and assessor network and join the list of active assessors. Completing the APP EXP assessor preparation does not guarantee being allocated assessment(s), although we will endeavour to do so.
