Extracting success factors in embedding learning technologies at institutional level (using experiences of funded projects and local strategies)

A new aspect of the TELRI work tackles the development of effective institutional strategies for the organisation, planning and evalutaion of technology- enchnaced learning, building up the capacity to respond to educational innovationin terms of "readiness to implement".

Two studies undertaken in LDC provide insight into aspects of institutional strategies, organisation, decision-making and support for embedding innovation into teaching and learning practices.

Examples of institutional practice

A review of experience of 10 national education technology projects drew out lessons learned in working within and across HE institutions.

A comparative study across eight universities and further experiences in the wider sector following two national workshops. An institutional review tool and reports on successful strategic approaches are available.
