The ANNIE project explored a range of video conferencing options, combined with other communication technologies to enable teachers and remote experts to interact with Theatre Studies students in a combination of face to face and distance interaction. At the same time, lecturers in Theatre Studies were able to experience teaching to remote students as well as facilitating learning with students interacting with teachers in remote locations.
