David Thomas, former Chair of Theatre Studies describes how, in designing a new course , e-Learning communication environments were used to promote more interaction between students and leacturers utilising an active, research-based mode of learning. Students took ownership of their learning and benifited from a wider perspective by seeing a number of other views on a topic.
