Developing and Evaluating Courses to meet Learning Outcomes

A commitment to the use of Learning Technology has formed part of the University of North London’s strategic plan for the past five years, and has recently become an essential element of its teaching and learning strategy. Implementing this commitment, however, has involved the creation of a professional development programme and a wide range of research activities. This paper will outline these, starting at the contextual level with the programme, then the planning of the course and finally considering strategies for evaluation.
