Technology Enhanced Learning at Research-Led Institutions (TELRI)

TELRI logoIn establishing links between research and teaching, TELRI has focused on the cognitive skills of researchers and professional practitioners, defined some of them, and suggested how they can be developed and assessed in students and supported using ICT. The fundamental premise of TELRI is a belief that the research process is inherently a learning process. As such research-like approaches provide a valuable model for student learning approaches and the design of appropriate forms of assessment.

TELRI has been developing educational and technological approaches for course and assignment design that enhances the transferable and cognitive skills and problem solving abilities of students in higher education. Spanning the disciplines, TELRI has implemented research-based approaches effectively and efficiently in over eighty course modules across several institutions.
