International Activities

As the Academy embarks on a scholarly global exploration of academic practices (learning, teaching and the student experience), it is building on already established educational collaborations and working with international partners to focus on understanding and evaluating academic practices, to develop genuinely intercultural learning for future student cohorts and inform future international learning and teaching strategies.

The Academy welcomes collaboration on developing teaching excellence with peers in the UK and across the world and to support this activity have created two new International Study Groups, focusing on China and India.

The Academy regularly invites international external speakers and visiting Fellows to Warwick to inspire, educate and challenge our educational thinking, we are particularly proud of our connection to the Monash Education Academy with whom we share excellent practice in learning and teaching, as part of a wider programme of international collaboration between Monash University and the University of Warwick. The two Academies were established alongside each other in 2015 by Professor Christina Hughes, Warwick's former Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Teaching & Learning), and Professor Darrell Evans (Monash) as sister organisations.
