Vikki Houlden (Academic Technologist)
My role as an academic technologist is to support the use of technology in teaching and research at CIM. I support IM906 Dissertation Workshops, and teach the lab sessions for IM913 Spatial Methods and Practice in Urban Science in Term 1. I am interested in spatial analysis, and work with ArcGIS, QGIS, GeoDa, R, Gephi and SPSS.
I completed my MEng Civil Engineering at the University of Warwick, before studying my MSc in Data Analytics in the Department of Computer Science. I am currently in the final year of my PhD in Urban Science, with Warwick Institute for Science of Cities. My research concerns the relationship between urban greenspace and mental wellbeing. My academic e-porfolio can be found here.
