Innovation Workshops

What's On

Starting in Global Entrepreneurship Week 2017, a new series of workshops led by our Innovation Fellows will explore a variety of topics associated with innovation and entrepreneurship.

Entrepreneurship and innovation have never been more important - at a time of global disruption, rapid technological change, economic uncertainty and environmental challenges. The global labour market mean it is important our graduates leave the University with a capability to make pro-active, positive and responsible contributions to society.

When and where are the workshops taking place?

The Innovation Workshops will take place every Monday* 7-9pm in Weeks 7-10 in Term 1.

*Please note there will be no workshop in Week 9 (w/c 27 November).

How do I book?

Workshop 3: Starting Up

Monday 4 December | 7-9pm | Social Sciences Building, Room S0.20

During our third workshop, we will explore together the elements of the business models of four startups in each of the following sectors: "e-commerce", "circular economy", "education", and "gender". Participants will also pitch ideas for startups they have and we'll work together on developing the ideas further using the Lean Canvas.

We'll also have an entrepreneur joining us online to talk about his startup experience and answer questions. Details will be posted on Sunday, December 3rd on our Facebook page: Enterprise at Warwick.

For our workshop participants, please make sure you join our closed Facebook group where we share workshop material and updates: "How to Startup" ًby Enterprise at Warwick Innovation Fellows.
