Conference - Childhood Disability and Social Disadvantage: Evidence and Implications for Policy and Practice

28 September 2012

Scarman Training & Conference Centre
University of Warwick

  • Do you have an interest in childhood disability?

  • Are you concerned about the growing body of evidence linking
    childhood disability and social disadvantage?

  • If so, this conference is for you!

This conference will share findings from an ESRC-funded project that has investigated the links between social disadvantage and chronic disabling conditions in children. It aims to bring together policy makers, practitioners, academics and organisations representing the interests of disabled children and their families to look at the evidence and explore implications for better policy and practice to support disabled children and their families.
