Passing On verbatim theatre based on research interviews produced by Santé Theatre Warwick @ The Institute of Health.
The events takes place on Monday June 25th from 2.00pm – 4.00pm at Millburn House Studio, University of Warwick. We will be filming some short live performance extracts of 'Passing On' and would be delighted if you would come be a member of our studio audience. There will be a ‘Question Time’ type post show discussion with an invited panel of health professionals and social scientists as well as the director of the production and the actors. We want to ensure that a range of views and feedback is represented. This short film will be used to raise awareness and debate on this important topic.
Filming starts at 2.00pm prompt so we would be grateful if you could be in your seat by 1.55pm. Refreshments will be provided.
“…while Santé Theatre’s excellent Passing On uses interviews with relatives and health professionals about end of life care. In the latter, a life-size puppet of a dying woman movingly captures the vulnerability of those left in the hands of strangers in the last days of their lives, while Alison Belbin and Paul Nolan bring the words of her daughter and son-in-law to life with heartbreaking realism.”
