Tania is the online teaching resources teaching assistant at the Institute of Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL). She is looking after the online module Understanding Wellbeing.

Prior to joining IATL, Tania had a background in glycobiology, and completed her PhD in Biochemistry from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. From her research work she published several articles in scientific journals.

She has experience of delivering teaching theoretical classes in biology areas as well as a biology laboratory.

Prior to her current appointment at the University of Warwick, she worked mentoring students, creating curriculum for undergraduate medical school programs, and worked as Assistant Professor (teaching focused) at the Autonomous University of Morelos State.
