Case-based learning - who learns what and how: a cross-disciplinary project

Intended outcomes of the project

  • Set of interdisciplinary cases for medicine business, law, education, social work and social sciences
  • Piloting of cases and evaluation (evaluation at Kirkpatrick levels 1,2 and 3 plus process evaluation through observation)
  • Exploration of the effectiveness of different methods by which interdisciplinary students can learn from these cases: face-to-face, online, mixed methods
  • A better understanding of how different disciplines apporach CBL and enhanced teaching practices as a result
  • Recommendations for case writing based on evaluation of effectiveness
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration
