The Babysitter is a new play written by Breman Rajkumar and produced by new theatre company InDepth. In the play Rhi, an epileptic child, is warred over by her two prospective babysitters - her sister and a new arrival called Aaron - and her overly protective mother and totally lax father. Staged origionally in the Writers' Room at Warwick University it was received so positively by NSDF that we were selected to perform as part of the short list. We applied for the money to help subsidise our actor's week long stay in Scarborough as we rehearsed and staged the play, which collected four awards at the end of the festival including the much coveted fest goer's award.
