Who Should Study

This couse is aimed to develop graduates who can 'engineer' solutions to the world's most challenging, diverse and complex issues.

This masters is not subject specific...

It will teach you very practically how to learn and collaborate with world-leading experts in many fields including:

  • Business
  • Law
  • Medicine
  • Science
  • Engineering
  • Education

You will become skilled in thinking from a wide range of perspectives- a key requirement to tackle global challenges critically and intelligently.

It is designed for active learners

You will be a co-producer throughout this course.

It will require:

  • Active collaboration
  • Application of new knowledge
  • Defining your own learning.

We challenge the traditional ‘lecture’ paradigm that can create passive receivers of knowledge, by constructing an environment where the application and synthesis of new knowledge with your own unique understanding is fundamental.


Your undergraduate degree should be in any of the following subjects:

  • Science or Natural Sciences
  • Social Sciences and Humanities
  • Engineering
  • Law
  • Health & Medicine
  • Business, Management & Economics

However, all applicants from other disciplines will be considered and those with relevant professional experience.
