Lecture 7. Consciousness and free will in animals

In this lecture on animal consciousness, I will discuss a little of the philosophical history of consciousness and also attempt to construct a definition and hypothesis for consciousness that is grounded in our current understanding of the neurobiology of goal-directed behaviour
