Alexander Smith
Alexander Smith is an Australian-born writer and associate professor of sociology at Warwick University. His literary and scholarly interests converge on democracy and political culture; war, memory and national identity; and ethnography, life-writing and memoir. He edits the New Ethnographies book series for Manchester University Press and has an MFA in Creative Writing from the Warwick Writing Programme as well as a PhD in Social Anthropology from Edinburgh University.
