The Migration, Identity, and Translation Network (MITN) is a multi-disciplinary network comprised of researchers from across a range of faculties from Monash University and the University of Warwick via the Monash-Warwick Alliance.

  • We explore issues relating to migration, identity, and translation from a variety of literary, cultural, linguistic, sociological, and historical perspectives
  • We seek to bring that expertise into developing world-leading research and teaching and learning projects
  • We work closely with partners throughout both universities, ranging from individual researchers and students through to other research networks and centres.
  • We aim to establish and support new research and pedagogical practices which develop the Network’s thematic areas from interdisciplinary and international perspectives.

MITN is managed by the Network Team and overseen by the Steering Committee. If you are interested in joining, or are interested in our events or activites, please contact the Academic Leads at either Warwick or Monash. If you are a postgraduate student interested in MITN, please speak with the Doctoral Fellows or PG leads at Monash, Warwick, or Bologna.
