On 22 November 2016 students and staff from Warwick Q-Step Centre came together for the first Placement Poster Presentation event which was held in the newly-opened Oculus building on central campus.
This annual event is a showcase of the experiences of final year Q-Step students who have completed the integral paid placement as part of their Warwick Q-Step degree programme. The Poster Presentation, as well as forming a part of the module assessment, gives students the opportunity to present the quantitative data research skills that they have developed over the course of their placement in a supportive and collegiate environment, with the opportunity to gain valuable feedback from academic members of staff.
During the event, students presented their posters to their peers and Warwick Q-Step members of staff. The standard of the posters produced was extremly high and the skills demonstrated by the students during the presention of their posters were commendable. The posters showcased a range of quantitative data research, data analysis, and report writing skills, highlighting the value of undertaking an integrated placement as part of the Warwick Q-Step degree programmes.
