Connor White

Connor White completed his PhD in the Penman group in September 2022. His work was funded by the EPSRC-funded MathSys Centre for Doctoral Training at Warwick.

Connor's thesis explores the evolution and epidemiological consequences of Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC) diversity. We have already published part of his work showing why it can be challenging to identify true associations between particular MHC (HLA in humans) variants and protection from particular infectious diseases (White et al 2020), and watch this space for more news!
