Connor White

Connor White is a PhD student in the EPSRC-funded MathSys Centre for Doctoral Training at Warwick.

Connor is studying the evolution and epidemiological consequences of Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC) diversity.

He has already published work showing why it can be challenging to identify true associations between particular MHC (HLA in humans) variants and protection from particular infectious diseases (White et al 2020).

Connor is also researching the evolution of copy number variation amongst MHC loci and the evolution of the binding specialisation of MHC molecules - watch this space for more news!
