The Medical School Welfare Strategy Group (Athena SWAN Self-assement team) also relies on surveys and focus groups to inform its agenda and ensure broad and diverse representation of opinions and interests in the department. Three surveys were conducted in 2016:
- A department-wide Athena SWAN culture survey
- A Gold Award prioritization survey directed at Womens Academic Network
- PULSE staff survey, which runs every few years, most recently in 2013 and 2016.
