Project Aims

To gain an understanding of reasoning, pattern recognition and rules of thumb that are used by general and nurse practitioners when presented with a patient with chest pain in UK general practice, and also to investigate how general practice in the UK compares to that  in Germany in regard to chest pain.

This is a small explorative study to understand the ways of reasoning, pattern recognition and rules of thumb used by general practitioners and nurse practitioners when a patient presents with chest pain in general practice. This study will seek to interview health professionals about their practice.
