Phases I, II, and III

The 4 year medical course is split into three Phases:

PHASE I (Year 1): Foundations of science and medicine

PHASE II (Year 2): Advanced cases 1 & Core Clinical Education – Principles of clinical practice

PHASE III (Years 3&4): Speciality Training – Preparation for practice

 

Phase I : FOUNDATIONS OF SCIENCE AND MEDICINE

(includes GP element to case-based learning)

Phase II

Advanced Clinical Cases, then three Core Clinical Education 10 week blocks, incorporating hospital specialities and GP.
