Gibbet Hill Wellbeing Day 2018

Come and join us for a day dedicated to your wellbeing! There'll be stalls, freebies, competitions, demonstrations and practical taster sessions to get involved in, open to all Warwick staff and students.

If you're thinking of coming along, please fill out the form at the bottom of the page to give us an idea of numbers (but you're very welcome to pop over on the day as well even if you haven't registered beforehand).

Join the Tide Ford Organics Soup Company to taste a range of soups.

Chat to Warwick Sport about nutrition and exercise. A Warwick personal trainer will be giving fitness MOTs, measuring height, weight and BMI.
GLT 3 10.00am - 2.00pm Shoulder massages
Enjoy a shoulder massage from the Coventry University student sports therapists.
GLT3 10.00am - 2.00pm Smoothie bike
Get some exercise and one of your five a day with a go on our smoothie bike

EyePod: Eye disorder simulator

The Royal National Institute of Blind People's EyePod will be set up outside the back of GLT3 throughout the event, giving you the chance to experience what it's like to see when you have various eye conditions and to understand why taking care of your eyes and going for regular checks is so important.

Representatives from the Deaf Society will have a stand during the event. Come along to find out more about their work.

Wellbeing and information stands
Colleagues from HR/ Equality, Diversity and Inclusion; Mental Health and Wellbeing; Warwick Arts Centre; Warwick Sport; and Lunch 2.0 will be available to chat to throughout the event.

Talk on digital wellbeing
Debbi Marais, Principal Teaching Fellow, will be giving a talk on digital wellbeing as part of the Extended Classroom Forum taking place at Gibbet Hill during the afternoon.

The Belles of Three Spires Choir

The Belles of Three Spires barbershop chorus will be providing a demonstration of four-part harmony acapella singing and invite you to join in and learn.

This is an informal day designed for people to dip in to when they have a space in their schedule. Everyone is welcome.
