Invoicing and Cancellation Policy

2017/18 Accredited Courses

From 2017/18 students will register for their course and select modules at the start of year with the expectation that:

  • Postgraduate Award module(s) will be taken in one year
  • For students registered for an MSc:
    • Postgraduate Certificate modules will be taken in year one
    • Postgraduate Diploma modules will be taken in year two
    • MSc stage modules will be taken in year three
Withdrawal from Registered Courses (PGA, PG Cert, PG Dip, MSc)

Should a student withdraw from their registered course for whatever the reason they may be eligible to exit with a lower award, and:

  • The full fee will be due for all modules attended and no refund given, whether the assessment has been submitted or not
  • A 50% charge applied for remaining modules they are registered for
Withdrawal from a Module

A student may withdraw from a selected module on their registered course to choose another module 31 days or more before the start of the module without charge.

If a student withdraws from a module on their registered course to choose another module 30 days or less before the start of the module then they will be liable for 50% of the module fee.

Failure of a Course

Should a student fail the course for which they are registered they may be eligible to exit with a lower award(s). The full fee will be due for all modules attended as part of that lower award(s) and for any other modules attended, whether the assessment has been submitted or not. Fees will not be applied to any future modules the student may have selected but not attended.

Failure of a Module

Should a student fail a module as part of their registered course i.e. they have exhausted all normal re-submission attempts, no refund is given.

2017/18 Non-accredited Courses/CPD

A student may withdraw from a CPD event 31 days or more before the start of the event without charge.

If a student withdraws from a CPD event 30 days or less before the start of the event then they will be liable for 50% of the fee.
