Work with Warwick and together we can figure out how we might all tackle the growing concerns about over diagnosis.

This professional development course takes a critical look at a key challenge for primary care – in balancing the needs of individuals and the wider population. We will look at key examples such as assessing cardiovascular risk, and pre-diabetes/Impaired Glucose Tolerance to take a critical look at risk reduction programmes. You will leave this session with new awareness of the complexities of concepts of screening, health needs assessment, and diagnosis. Together with practical ideas on how we might all tackle growing concerns about overdiagnosis.
